What We Offer

Snoring and sleep apnea treatment

Snoring is a major symptom of a condition known as sleep apnea.  Other symptoms of sleep apnea include: daytime drowsiness, difficulty concentrating, memory loss, mood changes, and accidents at home, at work, or behind the wheel. Thankfully, there are treatment options. One traditional option is treatment with CPAP. But this option isn’t for everyone. That’s why Dr. Hixson offers oral appliance therapy. This effective treatment option uses a custom-made oral device to reposition the tongue and lower jaw, ensuring that important airways remain open and clear. As a result, our patients can breathe easily at night instead of struggling.

Six Month Smiles

Ready to restore your confidence in your smile? With Six Month Smiles, there is no need to cover your mouth when talking or laughing and no metal brackets to hide. Six Month Smiles is a new orthodontic system that uses gentle movement to achieve a straighter smile. The clear brackets and tooth-colored wire are barely visible.

Sedation Dentistry

If dental fear has kept you from proper oral care, sedation dentistry will put you at ease.  New and safe sedation dental techniques mean you can have years of dental treatments done quickly, with little or no discomfort.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Whether your smile has simply lost its luster or needs a major overhaul, Dr. Hixson can help.  A variety of smile-worthy treatments are available, including porcelain restorations, veneers, whitening, and other state-of-the-art treatments.

Dental Implants

They feel like your natural teeth because implants are bridges that are permanently anchored to your jaw.  We use dental implants to replace ill-fitting dentures or missing teeth.

If you wear dentures, there is a procedure that can help stabilize them.  You'll be able to chew better, so mealtime will be more enjoyable. You will appreciate an improved quality of life, when you feel like smiling, you know your teeth will stay put.  Your denture will snap onto strategically placed implants, preventing the slipping and sliding that occurs with dentures held in place with adhesives.

TMJ Treatment

Symptoms of TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint disorder) can range from head and neck aches to popping or clicking when you open you jaw.  We use treatments including bite guards and muscle relaxers.  A thorough dental exam may reveal the problem.
